Candis Kloverstrom, Coach, Artist, Writer Candis Kloverstrom is an award-winning illustrator, author, and writer whose work appeared in the Wall Street Journal and other notable publications. Her passion for the creative process is seen in her two books where gathering the delectable recipes, illustrating them, and writing about the people who put the recipes together is a slice of her talent. As a coach, today she helps people discover truths about themselves establishing success in their lives and business. That discovery process leads to great messages about them essential to capturing potential clients. From these statements messages, strategies, materials, and efforts flow out to the market place. As an artist she honed her visual skills with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Colorado, Denver Center and classes at Rocky Mountain School of Art & Design in Denver, Colorado. Years assisting clients with visual and written communications set the stage for helping people find their unique niche. She found the essential element in any communication is differentiation. Differentiation is key in her second book, Denver Men in the Kitchen, where she focuses on the stories of individuals. The success of this book hinged on the unique personality of each man in the kitchen that gives readers a slice of what makes Denver great. As a long standing resident of Colorado, she gained her inspiration for Denver Men in the Kitchen through researching topics for a regional cookbook for the Denver Metro area. Candis began developing a cookbook that was similar to her first publication, A Taste of Castle Rock, a community book about the town of Castle Rock, Colorado. Starting with an inspiration, the ideas unfolded into a fun filled project, Denver Men in the Kitchen.
